Student housing for Indigenous high school students - R$15,000 (~USD 3,000) Many students from other villages travel to attend high school in Sawré Muybu and currently do not have a stable place to stay while studying. The community would like to build a simple lodging space so that young people can continue their education without having to leave their territory and face the social risks often encountered in nearby cities.

Backup generator for the community - R$23,000 (~USD 4,600) The village primarily relies on solar panels for electricity. However, during the rainy season sunlight becomes scarce and the community is often left without reliable power. A generator would provide essential backup electricity during periods of low solar energy. 

 

Solar inverter for Aldira Akai’s house - R$4,000 (~USD 800) The inverter that powers Aldira Akai’s home recently burned out. Replacing it would restore the solar system that supplies electricity to her house.
